Photography isn't what I do. It's how I see the world. And New Orleans gives me more to see than anywhere else on earth.

Hi, I'm Dustin,

Started in a darkroom. Never really left.

Photography found me in a darkroom in 2006, where I learned the art of developing film by hand. I didn't start with a digital camera or a smartphone. I started with chemistry, light, and patience. That foundation never left me.

I grew up in Mississippi, but New Orleans was always calling. I moved here in 2013 and nowhere else has ever felt like home. The city finds its way into everything I shoot, even when the frame has nothing to do with it.

I love street photography. Capturing raw, candid moments. The kind of image nobody planned for but everybody remembers. Whether I'm on a festival ground or in a quiet room with one subject, the goal is always the same: make something real.

In 2023 I turned that lifelong passion into a business. I serve the Greater New Orleans area, covering live events, corporate work, headshots, and portraits.

The best shots happen when nobody's performing.

This work is a privilege. Every time I pick up a camera, I'm being trusted with something that cannot be repeated. I take that seriously. The images I'm hired for and the ones nobody saw coming.

Its people, its music, its energy, its relentless soul. New Orleans finds its way into every frame, whether I'm on a festival ground, in a boardroom, or in City Park at golden hour.
